In 2010, the Environment Agency donated the 6S37 Allen to Internal Fire. On May 4th, the engine was run for the last time by museum volunteers and by May 7th was on wagons heading for her new home in Wales.

There are three Allen engines preserved at the Prickwillow Museum. A 3S30 has been running for some time, the last surviving S60 is now running and a T47 two-stroke is being restored.

Allen twin-cylinder vertical diesel engine, David Brown gearbox and borehole pump WH Allen of Bedford Two-cylinder vertical diesel engine of modular construction, designed mainly for stationary purposes. Used at Alton Court Waterworks, Ross-on-Wye, where it replaced the National Gas engine*. The diesel engine drove a 5-stage centrifugal borehole pump via a David Brown speed increasing and right-angle drive gear box.

This engine is part of an Allen steam and diesel installation at the old Fox Brothers Mill near Wellington. Partly converted to flats but the engine room has been listed by English Heritage, current state unknown.
